Most of the people who visit the island in Summer usually do so during the day, since finding accommodation at this time of year is complicated, if not pre-organized a few months in advance.
For those who come to spend the day on the island we recommend getting up early and catch the first boats departing from Lanzarote, so that you can take full advantage of the whole day on the island, as the last boat returns to Lanzarote at 19.00 hrs.

Rent a bike, a taxi, or walk in La Graciosa

Don’t miss the route to Las Conchas beach
The alternative route is shorter, as it is the one that leads to the southern area: Playa de Francesa and La Cocina. It is about 3 km and will take you about 45 minutes to get there. This option is for those who want to enjoy a day at the beach, swim, snorkel .. and then return in tranquility to Caleta de Sebo with a pleasant walk along the coast.
If there is something special about La Graciosa is that it is very special, there is no asphalt, only paths, and being able to ride a bike has its own charm, because there are few places where you can do this. Each bike rental company has its own prices, and it all depends on the type of bike you rent: mountain bike, electric, fat bike, and also on the quality of the bike, of course.
It is very important to rent from a business that offers road assistance, because if you have a problem on the bike they can come to pick you up wherever you are.
Most people choose to do the route that goes to Playa de Las Conchas and spend the day at the beach, but be careful, this beach is dangerous to bathe in and rarely can you do it because there are strong currents and waves, so very often you will see the red flag being show. You can sunbathe, stroll along this paradisiacal beach, and then climb to the top of Montaña Bermeja where you will have a view that will leave you speechless.
Staying in Las Conchas is just one option, the other is to continue cycling to Caletón de los Arcos and Playa Lambra, or if you prefer head back to Caleta.
In any case, when you rent the bike, they will explain the routes and give advice.

4x4 taxi, the comfortable and fast option to get to know the island
Finally, if you do not want to spend all day in the heat, and want to get to know the island in a more comfortable and faster way, an alternative option is to take a 4x4 cab. The prices of the cab services are fixed, and for all taxis charge the same. The cabs provide two types of services: transfers to beaches, where the cab takes you to the beach and picks you back up at the time you tell him. This service has a cost from 10 € / person (includes the round trip). The price will depend on which beach you go to.
The tour lasts 90 minutes and visits the northern part of the island, making 4 stops: Playa de Las Conchas, Caletón de los Arcos, Playa Lambra and Pedro Barba. The price is 25€/ person, ( min. 2 ) and can carry up to 8 passengers. LINK TO
With the beach transfers you can organize your day, visit the beaches you want, and enjoy a full day at the beach. With the tour, on the other hand, you will have time to stroll through the streets of Caleta de Sebo, visit its museum, and eat in one of the village restaurants.
