How to get to La Graciosa
There are daily flights from the mainland and numerous European cities which enable Lanzarote to have direct links with 90 destinations.
Asturias, Barcelona, Bilbao, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Madrid, Malaga, Santiago de Compostela, Sevilla, North Tenerife and Valenica are the national destinations which fly direct to Lanzarote.
European countries which fly direct are France, Italy, UK, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Czech Republic, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland.
Getting to La Graciosa isn’t difficult. Once you’ve got to Lanzarote you need to head for the town of Orzola, easy by bus, taxi or car, to then take the boat which will bring you to the island. La Graciosa is connected to Lanzarote by boats every hour from 8 in the morning to 18.30 in the evening, depending on the time of year.
How to get from Lanzarote Airport to Órzola
Public Transport – Bus
The airport is linked to Guaguas train station in Arrecife by a line from which 5 buses a day leave for Orzola. The journey takes an hour to arrive at the town from where you take the boat to La Graciosa. The arrival of buses in Orzola is always connected to the departure of boats to the island.
The quickest way to get to Orzola is take a taxi. In just 45 minutes you will cover the 42km distance.
Renting a car from one of the companies that operate in the airport is simple. You cannot take cars onto the boat to go the island of La Graciosa, so when you get to Orzola you need to leave the car parked in one of the free car parks that exist for that.
