Playa el Salado in La Graciosa
After the beach of La Laja, which is situated in the same port of Caleta de Sebo, Playa El Salado is next closest to the town, a 15-minute walk. El Salado, La Francesa and La Cocina are the south coast beaches of La Graciosa, all of them with very calm waters and where bathing is not dangerous.
To reach Bahia del Salado, which is where the beach is, you need to head towards the end of the town, towards Punta Corrales, following the direction of Montana Amarilla always, which is referenced all the way.
Barely a few metres away we find the only authorized campsite in La Graciosa.

Camping at Playa El Salado
The route to the beach is flat and does not present any difficulties. It is curious to do the route walking along the coastal road coming across different sections; a mixture of flat, rocky surfaces, with sections of sand plains where the tide forms gaps when it goes out, the route providing the enjoyable view of the cliffs and crags of Famara in Lanzarote and the vast amount of marine wildlife.
You cannot truly appreciate the uniqueness of this landscape by bike as the track runs through the inside, it is better to do it on foot due to the accumulation of sand caused by the wind, and because in many parts we are forced to get off the bike and walk.
